Over the last several years Kajima has actively invested, developed and managed in the European logistics sector. We employ a research-backed approach to identify assets and locations that benefit from structural changes in the retail and industrial markets, creating value add or core returns for our shareholders and investment partners. Kajima has forged strategic partnerships with local logistics developers enabling us to invest in and develop over 30 logistics projects in core European markets including the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland and the Czech Republic, with a gross asset value of over €2bn. Kajima continues to expand its network of development and investment partners, which has so far helped to secure a committed development pipeline of over 1m sq m.
