With board rooms for six, halls for 200 and plenty in between, these centres are a base for vital local resources, such as affordable food collectives and peer support groups for new mums.

But balancing this busy calendar had become laborious for Stockport Homes, an organisation who also manage the homes of 30,000 people on behalf of Stockport Council. The team of administrators were struggling to piece together a system using a mixture of Microsoft Office and third-party software – and still taking payments by cheque. Unwieldy processes made errors inevitable, leading to disappointed customers.

Kajima Community’s BookingsPlus software now provides a single in-house system for Stockport Homes, and an integrated website for the local schools, sport clubs and community organisations looking to book space. Online payments are easy, data is secure and the result is a growing roster of new bookings and happy regulars.
